Delivery within 1 – 5 business days.

Ordered plants and/or accessories are carefully prepared for shipping. Our carrier delivers between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Once your order has been handed over to the carrier, you will receive a track & trace email.
For deliveries in Belgium, there is a possibility that packages may be delivered after 6:00 PM. Please note that deliveries to the Wadden Islands may arrive one day later.
Our carrier also does its utmost to deliver orders within the specified time frame during holidays. However, since this period is often busier than usual, there may occasionally be some delays.

Shipping of plants and plant accessories within the Netherlands: € 5.95
Shipping of plants and plant accessories to Belgium: € 9.95
For orders to the Netherlands or Belgium with a value of € 75.00 or more, there are no shipping costs.
All rates include VAT.

If you are not home at the time of delivery, the carrier will always try to deliver the order to your neighbors. If delivery to the neighbors is not possible, our carrier will take the package back to the depot. In both cases, the carrier will leave a "Not Home Notice" in the mailbox. This will include the details of the neighbors where the package was delivered or instructions for scheduling a new delivery. You will also receive a notification by email.

It is possible to provide a different delivery address if you want to gift our plants. The invoice will not be included, so the recipient will not see the value of your order. You can specify this during the checkout process.

Plants are fragile products. Plants, especially orchids, will be packed and shipped with great care. However, damage can still occur. With some plants, such as the Strelitzia, splits in the leaves are natural. If there is significant damage, you can contact our customer service – with your order number – at info@mrcactus.nl. We will then ensure a suitable solution.

Together with our carrier, we do everything we can to deliver all orders as agreed. However, unforeseen circumstances or holidays may cause delays. Mr. Cactus is not responsible for delays by the carrier. Please report this to us so that we can investigate and improve.

During severe frost, there is an increased risk of cold damage during transport. In such cases, we may have to delay your delivery by a day or a few days. This situation is considered force majeure, and we must safeguard the quality of our plants.

Please note that you will receive multiple packages. Each plant has its own box and may come from a different grower. The delivery time per plant may vary, but most plants will be delivered within 1-5 business days.

Does the item not match the image on the website? Check whether the item number under the barcode matches the item number on the packing slip. The packing slip is attached to the outside of the box. If the item codes do not match, send us a photo of the item and barcode via email, and we will provide an appropriate solution.

Has your plant developed a disease? Is it becoming less attractive? Has it completely died?
There is a good chance that the plant is not in the right place or is not receiving the proper amount of water. Therefore, contact us if you notice something unusual with the plant. In many cases, we can offer advice so you can continue to enjoy your plant.

Did your houseplant die within a short period? Then you will receive a discount on your next plant. A 100% warranty is not possible because we cannot monitor the care of the plant. Sometimes it is wise to choose a different plant that may be better suited for you. The discount is also valid for another houseplant in the same price range. To be eligible for the warranty, we kindly request a photo of the houseplant and the order number. The discount depends on how quickly the plant has died.

We, as a seller, stand for the quality of all our products. Products must meet the reasonable expectations that you, as a customer, may have of them. If something is unexpectedly wrong, we would like to know and will work with you to find an appropriate solution. This 'legal warranty' applies in addition to any extra warranties that may be offered.

Returns and Warranty

Can I return my order?
Is the item you ordered not quite what you expected? That can happen.
Flowers and plants cannot be returned. We work with living products. Did you order something else (such as a pot or basket) and find it unsatisfactory? That can happen. At Mr. Cactus, you have the option to return it within 14 days of the invoice date.

Our plants are sent fresh from the grower. We carefully prepare plants and accessories for shipment, and our carrier ensures fast and neat delivery to your home. All items you purchase from us come with a legal warranty. This means that a product must meet or do what you could reasonably expect from it. Did something go wrong or do you have a complaint? Please contact us as soon as possible! You will receive a substantive response from us within 14 days of receiving your complaint. To assist you as quickly and efficiently as possible, we ask that you provide the following:

  • Your name, email address, and order number.
  • A photo showing the full scope of the product(s).
  • A detailed (close-up) photo of the specific damage to the product(s).
  • If there is damage to the package: a photo of the outside and inside of the package.

If you are not satisfied with the handling of your complaint, you can also submit it to the Disputes Committee via the European ODR Platform.

Follow the steps below to send your return correctly:

  1. Pack the items you wish to return in the original packaging and include a note with your order number. This helps us know the return is from you upon receipt.
  2. Take your return to the nearest post office and send it to Mr. Cactus.

Return Conditions

  • Returns can only be made within the specified 14-day return period.
  • The return costs are at your own expense.
  • Both the costs and the risk of shipping are at your own expense.
  • Please return all items you wish to return in one shipment to ensure the return is processed quickly.
  • Once we have received the returned items, we will refund the amount within 3 working days.
  • No investigation will be initiated for lost returns without a track and trace code. Therefore, please note that proof of shipment with a track and trace code is required to be eligible for a refund.
  • Is your order incorrect? We will of course resolve this as soon as possible! Contact us via info@mrcactus.nl and include your name, order number, and the items in question. We will help you and resolve the issue as quickly as possible!
